This Monday – don’t miss it!

Many people are not aware of the axe murder in Pensacola that was solved twice! It happened in 1926.

On Monday, May 19, at 5:00 PM, the Pensacola Police Historic Society will hold their monthly meeting at the downtown Pensacola Public Library, 239 N. Spring Street.

Mike Simmons will present the story of the 1926 axe murder of Preston Pickern that occurred in downtown Pensacola – 2000 feet from where the meeting will occur.

The victims of the attack on Chipley Alley included Preston, his wife, and the two children in the next room.

Admission is free, and snacks are provided! See you there!
