A 35-Year-old Pensacola Murder, Finally Solved!

One week away!

The horrible murder of an innocent, small-town girl – unsolved for 35 years. But the relentless effort of many hours of investigation by a team of Pensacola Police detectives, and the creative idea of a crime scene supervisor, finally brought justice to Tonya Ethridge McKinley and her family.

When Pensacola Police Captain Chuck Mallett and his team began working on the case, a textbook could have been written on their work. The investigative hours and the eventual interview was a work of art.

The tireless work of dead ends, uncooperative witnesses, and broken-hearted families by first-rate investigative journalist Tony Adame thrust the investigation onto the worldwide stage with his book, “Chase the Devil.” Tony has appeared on “Cold Case Files” and “On the Case with Paula Zahn” to explain this terrible murder, the incredible work done to capture the suspect, Daniel Wells, and the twist after his incarceration.

The meeting will take place on Monday, July 21, at 5:00 PM at the downtown location of the Pensacola Public Library, 239 N. Spring Street. The meeting will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, and we will get right into this fascinating story!
